We just learned today that the Wilmot volleyball team cannot play any regular season games after today or they would be ineligible for their playoffs. So unfortunately, Thursday's volleyball game at Wilmot has been cancelled.

The football coaches would like to thank the team for an outstanding season. You battled throughout the year and became a close-knit family. We especially appreciate the seniors for your leadership and grit. We wish you the best the rest of this year and your post-high school days. We also want to give a huge shout out to all of the fans who traveled to Mayville this past Saturday. Your presence was truly felt and helped us get through a difficult day.

The Warbirds are offering a fan bus for the football play-off game in Mayville on Saturday. The bus will leave at 9:45 a.m. from the Wyndmere High School parking lot. The cost per rider is $10. It is open to students in grades 7-12 and to elementary students who have a grade 7-12 sibling who is also riding the bus. Students can sign-up and pay in the office and get a permission slip for a parent to sign. Admission to the game is an additional cost to be paid at the game ($5/student). We need 30 students signed up (with $10 paid and signed permission slip returned) by noon on Wednesday to offer the bus. We also need at least two adult chaperones (no cost to ride the bus and admission to the game will be paid for the two adult chaperones). If interested in chaperoning, please contact the office.

Good luck to the cross country team who is competing in the Regional meet tomorrow in Cooperstown and good luck to the football team who is hosting a regional playoff game vs. Hatton-Northwood tomorrow!

Come hungry to cheer on the Warbirds tomorrow and tailgate with the Wyndmere Post Prom committee starting at noon! They will be serving Chili, Chicken Chili, Knoephla Soup, hot dogs, chilidogs, pulled pork sandwiches, bars, cookies, and hot cocoa. Thank you!!!

Lidgerwood Public School is currently looking for substitute cooks for the kitchen. Applicants need to have flexibility in their schedules and be available on short notice. Hours typically run from 7:00 am - 2:30 pm. Pay is $13/hr.

For safety of student athletes, yellow lines have been painted around Wynd FB field. Make sure vehicle, including open tailgate, is behind that line when you park. Fans are still allowed to stand behind white rope. Do not park between two ambulance signs on west side.

KBMW 1450, 740 TheFan, and 3 Borders Sports will be broadcasting/televising our game vs. Hankinson on Friday night.
